The farm must fulfil the following production requirements in order to receive the endorsement:
• Excellent milk quality
• Systematic health care of animals
• Cowshed inspection approved by the authorities
• Caring for the farm environment
• Farm visit and audit by an advisor
• The will to develop the farm continuously
The Valio dairy farm endorsement has been granted to over 2,000 farms.
