Licensing functional foods and technology
Valio is an innovative company that aims to protect its inventions through patenting, and commercialize them by selling licenses outside the company's domestic market.
Technology licensing is a relatively new element in international business, and it has spread the Valio name around the world. Functional food licensing agreements are available for probiotic Lactobacillus GG strain, Evolus® milk drink (lowers blood pressure) and lactose-free milk production.
