Networking in the dairy industry at its very best

The IDF (International Dairy Federation) is a global forum for dairy industry experts in which Valio staff play an active role. The IDF has members from 49 different countries and a National Committee operates in each of those countries. The IDF expert network offers an excellent opportunity for interaction between the experts themselves.
Finland's National Committee is headed by Riitta Korpela, Vice President, Nutrition Innovations at Valio Ltd.

The key areas of interest are dairy farming, hygiene and safety, methods of analysis and sampling, food labelling and its standards, nutrition and health, milk technology, marketing, issues related to dairy economics and policies, and developments in dairying.
The IDF offers its members up-to-date information about the issues it follows and is working on. Experts from the member countries may participate in several IDF working groups, which handle questions concerning a specific topic.
