Valio Sverige AB was founded in 1994 and handles sales and marketing in Sweden. The company markets fresh products such as yoghurts and cooking products.
Valio Sverige’s goal is to differentiate its range and market identity via value added products that emphasise health and well-being. This builds on the Valio brand image which draws on the pure quality products from which well-being begins. Our target profile for Swedish consumers is to be the preferred dairy choice that emphasises these values.
The product range comprises more than 60 items to date. These include the largest selection of lactose free products on the market: milks, yoghurts, creams, sour cream, crème fraîche, cottage cheese and butter.
Lactose free milk has been marketed since late 2002, with sales exceeding all expectations at more than 1 million litres in the first year alone. Valio Vanilj yoghurt was launched in 2002 and Valio butter in 2009.
