Valio Sverige AB was founded in 1994 and handles sales and marketing in Sweden. Valio Sverige markets fresh products, such as yoghurts, juices, cooking products, cottage cheese and viili fermented milk.
The goal of Valio Sverige is to differentiate through added-value products that emphasize health and well-being. This builds on the Valio brand image that draws on the pure quality products from which well-being begins. Our target profile for Swedish consumers is to be the preferred choice that emphasize these values in the dairy products market.
The product range comprises 35 items at this point. These include, for example, the largest selection of low-lactose products in the market: yoghurts, creams, sour cream, crème fraîche, cottage cheese.
Lactose-free milk has been marketed since late 2002, with sales exceeding all expectations at more than 1 million liters in a year. Lactose-free cooking cream was launched in autumn 2003. Vanilj yoghurt launched in 2002 also turned out to be a huge success.
